On Law, Planning, and the Shaping of Space

תקציר

The author reflects on the effects of state planning and geographic laws in Israel. He particularly cites the situation in Arab al-Nai'm, a village in the heart of the country that was unrecognized by the government. This further discloses on the efforts to eliminate the village in the country's map, despite the attempt of villagers to be acknowledged. Furthermore, disadvantages on the contention of the government to shape its geography regardless to the need of its people are posted.
