Special Issue on Indigenous Peoples

Abstract

Information about several papers discussed at a conference on the strategies for survival and development of indigenous peoples is presented. There were several panels that has presented information on the present conditions of these ethnic groups, the potentials for social, economic and political survival and development. Stefano Varese also presented the views of Native peoples in Latin and South America.
